Land/Air 7.3: Was ist neu?
(Nur auf ENGLISCH verfügbar)
Below you will find a list of improvements of the main version of our softwares 'Land'/'Air'. In order to purchase or upgrade to this version you only need to get access to 'Land' or 'Air' sections of our website. Most notable changes and improvements are divided into the following agrupations:
Graph system redesigned
Graph representations have been totally improved for a much detailed analysis (tracks, routes, roadbooks,...). Among several changes:
|

Download data from on-line providers
A new 'branch' has been added to data tree: On-line files. This section contains data available not in computer nor in connected devices but in the internet.
Currently it contains access to your Dropbox account. Land allows you to drag and upload an open element to personal content provider.

Note: The list of on-line files providers will grow progressively, offering several types of data, as maps or tracks.
Synchronize tracklog from GPS devices
In order to transfer your recorded tracks from GPS to computer, you can do it automatically:
|

Note: The content of tracklog is copied inside the folder 'Track > your GPS device'.
Waypoints and Tracks: Show more information on the list of elements

Land/Air allows the possibility to present on waypoints and tracks lists extra information related to these elements such as date, distance, height, relative bearing arrow, track color,.... The information is presented in a 2nd line right after the name of the item and it can be customized showing multi-selectable data fields ('File > Options > Display > Data tree').

Note: The data contained in the 2nd line is only available for tracks and waypoints which have been saved using TwoNav 2.5 or Land/Air 7.3 (or higher).
Calory count tools data fields
|
New 'Effort' features:
|
Specific calory data fields for ANT+ registered data:
Zone 5 (90%-100% Maximum Cardiac Frequency): High-intensity athlete
Zone 4 (80%-90% Maximum Cardiac Frequency): High-level athlete
Zone 3 (70%-80% Maximum Cardiac Frequency): Aerobic capacity
Zone 2 (60%-70% Maximum Cardiac Frequency): General Population
Zone 1 (50%-60% Maximum Cardiac Frequency): Totally untrained
Delete a specific sub-element of a *.GPX file
*.GPX can contain different types of files, in order to delete just a specific sub-file instead of deleting the whole *.GPX, apply any of these options:
|

Communications between Land and serial-connected GPS
If a serial-connected GPS is plugged, the user can interact with the device from 'Storage files' section of the data tree. Before you start to interact, you will need to recognize the GPS: click at 'Storage files > Contextual menu and select > Connect to'. Wait a few seconds until your device is recognized and listed.

Unify tracks: create/disable legs
When several tracks are unified ('Menu > Tracks > Unify tracks'), the user can choose whether to keep original tracks as independent legs of the new unified track, or get a uniformed track with no legs.

New legs properties:
|
Unselection of subtracks
While editing, subtracks can be unselected from 'Contextual menu > Subtrack > Unselect subtrack'.

New track properties
|
Anchor: Fix position as 'virtual position'
Fix a virtual position somewhere is to virtually replace the current position of the user for a new position in the map. In order to anchor a position apply any of these options:
|
Once fixed, the information displayed on data fields as well as in 2nd information line (list of elements) is based according to the new anchored position, and not on the real position of the user (e.g: proximity data field). Moreover, if 'Anchor here' is pinned, options such as 'Recenter map' are applied to the anchored waypoint instead of the current position of the user (to recenter the map press
're-center' button at the toolbar).
In order to restore the current position as the default one, apply the same option to unpin the fixation.

Mosaic maps: tiles layout
The selection and display of maps tiles (mosaic maps made up of square portions of terrain) have been improved for an easier on-screen identification and interaction. The grid which displays the layout of tiles can be enabled from:
|
Note: In a map made up of tiles (mosaic), only the availabe tiles are drawn on the grid.
New 'auto-map' possibilities
The easiest way to use the most suitable map for each situation is to activate ‘Automaps’ function ('Main Menu > File > Options > Maps').
Sea level representation
When the height is under the sea level, 3D mode can also represent the situation by fixing the current value of the sea level from 'File > Options > 3D > Sea Level'. (*.CDEM elevation map required). By default, the level of the sea is set at 0 meters.
